I can understand why there is a Lana del Rey backlash. I mean it is all so damn perfect isn't it? Stunning, sultry, sexy music. A 25-year-old pillow-lipped singer. Her yen for fashion and quirky style. The monikers incluing 'a gangster Nincy Sinatra' I mean it is all so damn perfect. And then you see this spread for the latest V Magazine. How can someone so beautiful also make such unimaginably lovely music?
But she does. And she is just about to release her first album. She says nothing much has changed - other than she now plays to an appreciative audience. I'll bet she also gets much nicer clothes too. Just saying. Do you like it?
